All rail kits come in various colours and finishes. (anodised red, anodised blue & chrome).  These high luster finishes arent just for looks, the anodised coating also acts as a barrier against oxidising fuels such as E85 or methanol.  These alcohol based fuels are reactive with raw aluminium and some rubber hosing and can lead to them breaking down, cloging injectors, meaning the end of your fuel pumps, injectors, regulators and even worse, your engine!

 

I strongly reccommend anyone running E85 to look into upgrading to teflon braided lines as well.

 

E85 is a whole new world and a whole new fuel, and will be awesome for us all, but it must be treated with respect!!  If you are converting a vl to run on E85, you will have to replace all your rubber fuel hosing, otherwise it will deteriorate into a slimy mess.

Microtech LT10S

The LT10S ECU is essentially a 4 injector driver, 4 ignition driver ECU . It is commonly used for sequential 4 cyl , 6 & 8 (group fire in 6/8 cyl) and twin rotor applications. It has 2 aux input’s and 3 aux outputs in total. These Aux outs are set up standard as stepper motor control, one switched output via RPM and one switched output via water temp (Eg FAN contol). The unit also has a built in ignition amplifier on board. This unit is now the size of our MT4 unit. We believe its physically the smallest ECU on the market that controls fuel and ignition – $1095

The Hand Controller is the easiest way to program a MicroTech ECU for most people new to the system. The Hand Controller holds 4 memcals or programs on board which are easily saved and loaded.
